School Safety
The safety of our children is an issue that crosses all political lines
Tony will use his decades of professional experience to ensure FCPS develops a security program that will be considered the "gold standard" in the industry. He will accomplish this by:
- Identifying risk and providing real mitigations.
- Increase the infrastructure budget to strengthen school facilities.
- Create comprehensive Emergency Response Manuals coupled with proper training.
Mental Health Crisis
Mental health is an epidemic that is affecting our children nationwide
As a Foster Parent that adopted an "At-Risk" teen from the Fairfax system, he learned through the program how to work and connect with teens.
He will work with the county to expand that successful program for teachers and parents. He will expand the mentorship programs into schools connecting our children with successful adults who will help them grow.
Academic Excellence
We all want our children to succeed, but success is also measured by how we prepare our children for
Tony will institute:
- Common sense academic standards that will challenge our student.
- Expand the Trade School and Vocational School programs.
- Expand the curriculum to include financial and business courses.
- Work with students to identify their passion and develop curriculum for each student that will help them achieve their goals.
Vision
Our children are our most precious resource and it is our responsibility to provide them with a safe environment to grow and flourish. That means putting common sense initiatives ahead of social projects. Our children deserve the best and it is our mission to provide them the best and safest educational system we can provide.
